Make the Most out of Your Pumpkin.

Every year, the inner sculptor in us comes out and we purchase pumpkins to carve in the spirit of Halloween. This time last year, finder.com estimated that £25.13 million pounds were spent by us on just pumpkins alone!

But what happens when Halloween’s over and we’re transitioning into festivities? Most likely, you’ll be seeing pumpkins being thrown into the bin.

But not this year!

Make the most out of your pumpkin by taking inspiration from one of these ideas…

Let’s get the most obvious one out the way; eat what’s left of your pumpkin! You can make pie, soup and even try recreate the infamous Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte, which is essentially just coffee blended into pumpkin puree!

You could also leave the pumpkin out in the garden for wildlife to feed on, or if you don’t want to attract wild animals near your property, take it to your local park and place it next to a tree for squirrels and birds to nibble on.

Another simple but great tip is to compost your pumpkin. It’s much healthier for the environment, rather than disposing it into general waste.

Do your bit for the environment and remember these tips for next time!
